Update: Los Angeles Music Festival®

What’s happening with Los Angeles Music Festival®? Is there going to be another live festival? Is it just an online radio station? I get emails with those questions on a regular basis. Hello. I’m Estevan Vasquez, producer of Los Angeles Music Festival and the online #musicfestivalnetwork at LosAngelesMusicFestival.org. Here’s an update.

First, I hope you are well and among those of us complying with the very reasonable public health orders - wearing a mask, social distancing. I’d be wearing one now but there’s no one anywhere near me at the moment.

I’m trying to find a home for LosAngelesMusicFestival.org and the registered trademark which brings with it the exclusive right to present live concerts, festivals, tours, broadcast programming and merchandise under the name Los Angeles Music Festival®. I see that home as an existing music institution, a performing arts center, non-profit presenter, a public media outlet, or a music school, university or conservatory. The music festival network has discerning listeners in 145 countries and a social media presence rivals leading LA music nonprofits.

And longer term, we do want to do additional live festivals, tours and broadcasts. How that comes together remains to be seen. The moment the right stakeholders see the light, it’ll be on the fast track.

In summary, we’re trying to find a home for LosAngelesMusicFestival.org and the registered trademark. And although there are no near term plans to present a live festival in Los Angeles, that is the longer term goal. Thanks for asking. And please be in touch.
